Situated at one of the most prime location of New Delhi, This station on an average generates a revenue of more than 10 Lac per day. This station is an interchange station for Yellow line and Blue line and stands at middle of both the lines.

  • Rajiv Chowk Metro station opened on 3rd july 2005 for the service of Yellow line only and on 31st Decmber 2005 it also started serving on Blue line of the DMRC network.
  • It has a total of 10 Entry/Exit gates out of which only 8 are operational right now. Gate No. 09 and Gate no. 10 are closed permanently for service.
  • There are total 04 platforms at rajiv chowk. Platform 01 can be used for boarding trains towards Millenium City centre (Formerly known as Huda City Centre). Platform 02 takes you towards Samaypur Badli. Platform 03 connects to Noida Electronic City/Vaishali and Platform 04 can be used for going towards Dwarka Sub city.
  • On the occasion of New year’s eve the station Entry gates are closed after 09:00 Pm to control the crowd.
  • On occasion of Holi Station Opens at 14:30.

How to go from kashmere gate to Rajiv Chowk metro station?

You can take train towards Millenium city centre at Platform No. 01 of Kashmere Gate Metro station and 4th station in that direction will take you to Rajiv chowk. Both the stations are on the same line i.e. Yellow line so you do not need to interchange anywhere midway.

You can take train towards Vaishali at Platform No. 03 of Rajiv chowk station and 10th station in that direction will be Anand Vihar. Both the stations are on the same line i.e. Blue line so you do not need to interchange anywhere midway.
